Chickens For Sale - Commercial Hybrid Layer Pullets

These chickens make great pets and are easily tamed, however they can be bossy in mixed flocks. They lay approx. 250-300 eggs each year for the first 2 years, this then declines. They have a lifespan of approx. 5 years.

These top performing hybrids are the athletes of the avian world and they need high-protein, nutritional food for their constant egg laying achievements. Layer pellets or mash (with a minimum of 15% protein) should be offered in a self-feeder. We highly recommend Farmbies, Brookies Everyday Layer Mash or Laucke Mills Showbird Breeder.

Clean water and shell grit should be available at all times. Chopped greens are a great addition especially if pullets are not able to get outdoors for a scratch around.

Chickens will be put aside for you to pick up in store, if you would like to select your own Chickens you can do so once in store from the Chickens we have available when you collect.
