META SAFE is a grain-free concentrate pellet designed to deliver a complete and balanced blend of nutrients at a low feeding rate. This advanced, scientifically formulated low-GI concentrate is ideal for horses on restricted diets or those affected by metabolic disorders.
With less than 1.5% starch and low sugar levels, META SAFE also includes the added benefit of BONAFIDE®. BONAFIDE® supports essential Vitamin K1 and K2 levels, which horses on restricted grazing may lack, helping to maintain bone density and strength. Vitamins K1 and K2 play a crucial role in activating osteocalcin, the bone protein responsible for binding minerals and proteins within bone tissue. Insufficient Vitamin K intake can result in reduced bone density or compromised bone cartilage development.
META SAFE is ideally suited to horses and ponies prone to obesity or those managing conditions such as EMS, laminitis, or Cushing’s disease.
