Vetafarm Origins Insect and Mite Spray RTU

Mites can cause skin irritation, itchiness, powdery or flaky deposits, and sometimes scabs. Severe infestations may lead to additional health issues, including anaemia and weakened immune function.

Origins Insect & Mite Spray is designed to provide fast and effective treatment of mites and lice on animals, as well as in their environment. It contains:

• Permethrin – provides an immediate knockdown effect on mites and lice

• Methoprene – an insect growth regulator that prevents development at all life stages for up to six weeks

• Piperonyl Butoxide – a synergist that enhances the effectiveness of the pesticide

Treating the environment is essential to prevent re-infestation. Spray cages, enclosures, huts, or logs where mites may be hiding.

18 months from the date of manufacture

Storage:
Store below 30°C in the original, closed container, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Directions for Use:

1. Animal Treatment:

   • For control of rabbit and rodent mites (Trixacarus caviae) and lice (Anoplura spp.), spray directly onto the animal from 30–40 cm (12–16 in) away.

   • Spray quantity depends on animal size: 1 spray for mice, up to 10 sprays for rabbits.

   • Suitable for rabbits, guinea pigs, and other rodents.

2. Environment Treatment:

   • Spray the animal’s habitat thoroughly. One application provides up to six weeks of protection.

• Piperonyl Butoxide: 6.25 g/L

• Permethrin (40:60): 1.25 g/L

• Methoprene: 20 mg/L
